Vox Lusciniae returns with its third and most adventurous concert yet: SHE SCALES THE SKY…, coming to Western New York in October 2024.

Inspired by the incredible experience of the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse and the Northern Lights in Western New York, this exciting program includes music that evokes the wonderment, magic, and curiosity we experience through witnessing the mysteries of our natural world. Our stories are forever transformed by these moments, and our imagination unleashed.

Featuring music from six countries with texts in Basque, Latvian, and Latin languages, our program includes world-premiere performances of music by English composer Tamsin Jones, American composer Sarah Marze, as well as contemporary music for treble choir by Ola Gjeilo, Melissa Dunphy, Laura Jēkabsone, Eva Ugalde, Dan Forrest, and others from around the world. We are especially excited to perform music by Vox Lusciniae member and WNY-based acclaimed composer, Caroline Mallonee.
